David W. Davies

With nearly five decades of investment experience as a Financial Advisor and portfolio manager, David Davies has dedicated 35 years of that time to being a Branch Manager.

Dave holds securities licenses including General Securities Registered Representative (Series 7), General Securities Sales Supervisor (Series 8), Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63), and Uniform Investment Advisor Law (Series 65), and he is registered in numerous states across the country. Dave has been named to numerous Chairman & President Councils of the firms he has represented.

Dave graduated from Elmira College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and business administration, and he is also a graduate of Corning Community College.

As an avid motorsports enthusiast, Dave is a former treasurer for the International Motor Racing Research Center in Watkins Glen. He is a 49-year member of the Glen Region Sports Car Club of America, and held numerous regional and divisional positions – including Regional Executive – and has been recognized both regionally and nationally. He was a past administrator of the New York State Road Racing Championship Series, which is a racing series in New York, New England, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Ohio. Dave was inducted into the Corning-Painted Post Sports Hall of Fame for his contribution to motorsports.

Dave’s volunteer efforts in the community consisted of being a past treasurer and director of the Painted Post Board of Trade, as well as serving on the Corning Community College Foundation Board, Town of Erwin Board of Assessments Review, and Board of Directors for Steuben ARC. He is also the past president of Painted Post Lions Club. Dave was inducted into Corning Community College's newly created Red Baron Society for his contributions to the college.

Dave resides in the greater Corning area and Indialantic, FL with his wife, Connie. He has two daughters and seven grandchildren.
