David W. Davies

Managing Director – Investments

With over 50 years of investment experience as a Financial Consultant, Dave has spent 32 of those years as Branch Director. 

Dave holds securities licenses including General Securities Registered Representative (Series 7), General Securities Sales Supervisor (Series 8), Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63), Uniform Investment Advisor Law (Series 65), as well as being registered in numerous states across the country.

Dave is a prior member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute and CFA Society of Buffalo.  He has been a contributor to “The Leader” (the local newspaper in Corning, NY) with a weekly investment column for nearly two decades.

Mr. Davies is a graduate of Elmira College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and business administration as well as a graduate of Corning Community College.

As an avid motorsports enthusiast, Dave has served as treasurer for the International Motor Racing Research Center in Watkins Glen for 16 years.  He is a 50-year member of the Glen Region Sports Car Club of America and held numerous regional and divisional positions including Regional Executive and has been recognized both regionally and nationally.  He was a past administrator of the New York State Road Racing Championship Series which is a racing series in New York, New England, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Ohio.  Dave was inducted into the Corning-Painted Post Sports Hall of Fame for his contribution to motorsports.

Dave is active in volunteering in the community.  He was a past Treasurer and director of the Painted Post Board of Trade.  He previously served on the Corning Community College Foundation Board, Town of Erwin Board of Assessments Review, Board of Directors for Steuben ARC and is a past president of the Painted Post Lions Club.  Dave was inducted into the initial class of Corning Community College’s Red Baron Society for his contribution to the college.

Mr. Davies resides in the greater Corning area and Indialantic, FL with his wife, Connie.  He has two daughters and seven grandchildren.
